At the conclusion of three exceptional days in Marseille, we would like to express our sincere gratitude.

More than 300 millers and grain industry professionals from France, across Europe, as well as from Ukraine and Morocco, came together to make the 2026 European Milling Congress a true moment of exchange, reflection, and camaraderie.

Your presence, expertise, and commitment made these days a collective success, marked by high-quality discussions and a shared ambition to shape the future of the sector. We leave Marseille with new perspectives, stronger connections, and the firm conviction that cooperation and innovation will be key to the future of European milling.

From the morning, immerse yourself in our innovation carousel. Discover the latest technological advancements and projects shaping the future of the industry. This is a key moment characterised by creativity, exchange, and foresight.

Lunchtime: A taste of conviviality
At lunchtime, it’s all about conviviality! Enjoy a lunch in a panoramic room overlooking the “Vieux Port,” with direct access to its sunny terrace. This is a privileged moment to network, savour Mediterranean flavours, and take in breath-taking views of the sea and the rooftops of Marseille.

Afternoon: Conference plenary session
In the afternoon, join us in the Palace’s large auditorium for the Conference session. High-level speakers will address some of the topics that shape our sector today and tomorrow. Competitiveness is key. Valuable exchanges and a unique setting: all the ingredients are here to make this edition a highlight for the industry.

Thursday 4 June evening – Welcome Dinner 

Kick off this European Milling Congress in the friendly atmosphere and spirit of sharing that unite us with an unforgettable welcome dinner. We invite you to an architectural gem of Marseille: the amazing Pharo’s Palace Terraces, facing the sea and the famous old harbour “Vieux-Port”.

In this exceptional setting, suspended between sky, sea, and city lights, you will enjoy a typically Mediterranean evening. On the agenda: festive entertainment, a relaxed atmosphere, and traditional dishes from the region – Provençal flavours and French wines will awaken your taste buds.

Friday 5 June evening – Gala Dinner

A Grand Finale for the EFM Congress

Conclude the Congress with elegance and friendliness at an exceptional evening in the heart of Marseille: the Gala dinner in the prestigious setting of the Palais de la Bourse.

This iconic monument, steeped in history and located on the famous Canebière, will welcome you for an elegant and festive evening, where flavours and emotions will be plentiful. On the menu: carefully selected dishes, cuisine inspired by Mediterranean terroir, elegant wines and surprises throughout the evening.

Friday 5 June – Discovery day for Partners

While the congress sessions are in full swing, treat yourself to a getaway off the coast of Marseille!

How about taking advantage of your visit to Marseille to enjoy a sunny break, away from the hustle and bustle, with a trip to the Frioul Islands? Just a few minutes by boat from the “Vieux-Port”, this preserved archipelago awaits you with its turquoise coves, wild trails, and breathtaking views. It’s another side of Marseille that unfolds here – more intimate, wilder, bathed in light and sea breeze.

Once there, settle down facing the sea for a terrace lunch in a relaxed, typically Mediterranean atmosphere. The lunch at a restaurant with its grilled fish, fresh produce, and local wines will offer you a moment of pure pleasure with your feet in the water (or almost).

Saturday 6 June – Millers’ social discovery day (Experience Marseille differently)

You want to extend your stay and escape for a moment between sea and culture?

Treat yourself to an unforgettable morning in the calanques of Marseille: from the morning, embark on a magical boat ride, gliding through turquoise waters and spectacular cliffs. Time seems to stand still, as you drift from one cove to another, lulled by the songs of cicadas and the scents of pine and sea salt.

At lunchtime, drop anchor in a peaceful cove to enjoy a meal at sea with grilled fish, Provençal specialties, and a glass of local wine. A gourmet interlude in a postcard setting.

In the afternoon, head to Mucem, the Museum of Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean, a cultural gem perched between sky and sea. This unique place combines contemporary architecture with historical heritage, offering you two permanent exhibitions to discover:

  • “Mediterraneans” Episode 1: inventions and representations — Dive into a journey through time, from Antiquity to the present day, to understand how the image of “Mediterraneans” was constructed. Peoples, beliefs, exchanges, fantasies. This exhibition explores the multiple representations of this rich and complex cultural space. (Duration: 1 hour)
  • The Treasures of the Mucem Collections — For the first time, the Mucem highlights the incredible richness of its collections: everyday objects, works of art, textiles, photographs. A fascinating panorama of Mediterranean cultures, between tradition and modernity. (Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes)
